Safety: We want everyone that comes to Rolelu Stables to enjoy a fun, safe day. We do require that anyone riding at Rolelu Stables signs a waiver of liability. The waiver we use for our competitions is this: Release: I will wear an ASTM approved hard hat with a fastened harness whenever mounted. I understand that this is a high-risk sport and I am participating at my own risk. I hereby assume this risk and further do hereby release and hold harmless the Organizer, Organizing Committee, Judges and Officials, and their officers, agents, employees and volunteers, the host of this event or horse trial, and the owners of any property on which the event or trials is to be held, from all liability for the negligence resulting in accidents, damage, injury or illness to myself and to my property, including the horse or horses which I will compete at this event or trial.
We understand that emergencies occur, but we ask for at least 24 hours notice when you are cancelling a riding lesson. If you cancel (or do not show) 2 or more times without giving notice, you will be charged the full price of your lesson.
Payments: Lessons, boarding, training: We accept cash and checks for payment of riding or lessons and boarding and training. Payment is expected at time of service for lessons and within 5 business days for invoices including those for board and training. We are only able to accept credit card payments through our paypal.com account and that cannot be used for lessons or board without prior approval
Competitions: We accept cash, check, or paypal.com payments for our Excellence in Equitation competitions. However, as paypal.com charges us fees when you use their service to pay us, we have instituted a ‘paypal user fee.’ The user fee is fifty cents plus 2.5% of your entry fee. Our pdf entry forms calculate the user fee (and the total you need to pay) automatically for you. All entry information (entry form, negative coggins for the horse, signed waiver of liability, entry fees, separate check for stall deposit if appropriate) is due by the closing date for each show. If your entry is not complete by the closing date, your entry may not be accepted. On occasions when post (late) entries are accepted, all payments must be made through paypal.com or delivered in person at an agreed upon time. Late payments will NOT be accepted through US Mail. All paypal.com payments are subject to our paypal user fee.
Stall Rentals: stall may be rental on a daily basis for use during competitions. Stall rental is contingent upon approval of the organizers. Payment for the stall must be made by the closing date, and a separate check for the stall deposit must be given before you are allowed to use a stall. Click HERE for our stall rental agreement.
What happens if you have to scratch your entry? If you enter a competition and need to scratch (you are not able to compete), you will not be given a refund. There is a non-refundable secretarial fee as part of your entry. You will not get that back in any way. However, the rest of your entry fee will be ‘rolled-over’ toward the entry fee of another Rolelu competition (good for one year). In effect, you will have a credit on your account with Rolelu Stables for one year. Please include a note on your entry form when you are redeeming your credit so we know that is your plan. If you chose not to compete at Rolelu Stables within one year of getting your roll-over credit, the credit will expire and become useable.
Rolelu Stables, Inc. reserves the right to bar any person or horse from their premises or a competition on their premises if they do not have a complete entry, if they (or their horse) is acting in an unsafe or potentially abusive manner.
All policies, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
